Samsung has added another variant in its very fresh lineup of Galaxy A series that is currently known for so many qualities included selfie oriented utilities, metal body and ultra thickness. iPhone 6 Plus sized handset A7 is 5.5 inches but the handset resembles ridiculously with Apple iPhone 5S in terms of its peculiar design.
It has same color scheme, similar curved edges, metallic band and silver home button same to that of iPhone 5S. The only prominent difference is the size. Well, hopefully this time Samsung will not have to follow the lawsuit for copying intellectual property of the American giant.
Galaxy A7 is the follow up to all metal body Galaxy A3 and A5. All the A series will be KitKat enabled and it might be some Android lovers who want to see the Lollipop Juice in the handset. However, exact price and release date are yet to be confirmed.
Samsung boasts that A7 is one of the slimmest smartphones at 6.3 mm wide thickness and weighs 141 grams which is quite easy to carry. It has iPhone 6 Plus like 5.5 inches screen which sports AMOLED display. There is a massive octa-core processor which is powered by 1.8GHz quad-core and 1.3GHz quad-core processors supported by 2GB of RAM.
Other plus points include 4G LTE compatibility, 13 megapixels camera on the back and for perfect selfies, there is 5 megapixels camera on the front. It has an awesome photo capturing mode which is called auto selfie which allows the user to take selfie by waving your hand or via voice enabled command.
Selected countries will be able to choose a dual-SIM model. The dual-SIM model boasts 1.5Hz quad-core and 1.0GHz quad-core chips. Private mode locks away important files and documents behind an extra layer of security.
It will target budget conscious market and that is why it had to make a few cutbacks with relatively less 2600 mAh battery and 720 x 1280 pixels screen resolution.
Samsung’s memories with 2014 didn’t remain good as the company lost substantial portion of share from the eastern markets and also in China, Apple iPhone 6 went well while outpacing Korean giant. This brought a great amount of harm to Samsung and to redeem lost, the company decided to plunge into thin metal lineup of smartphones with Galaxy A series. This time it has come up with Samsung Galaxy A7, a few days after the release of A3 and A5 in Asian market
