eastern European thugs not learned to never mess with Liam Neeson? It seems the old adage “Once bitten, twice shy” doesn’t hold any value to them. Taken 3 follows the same theme as the previous two movies, i.e, Liam Neeson kicking ass. It’s predictable, yet has a few twists and while it doesn’t fill you with the same sense of urgency that the first one did, its quite a fun movie in its own right.
Bryan Mills is on the run. He’s been accused of murdering his wife Lenore and all the evidence seems to point in his direction. Nobody but his daughter, Kim and a few close friends believe his story. He must now use his skills to track down the real perpetrators of this crime and make them talk, but this is no easy task, especially considering that an extremely clever detective (Forest Whitaker) is hot on his trail.
Don’t go in expecting a brilliant oscar winning film, and you’ll come out quite pleased with what Taken 3 has to offer. It’s not as gritty as the first one, but has many entertaining moments of its own. Definitely worth a watch for those looking to see some action.
